Unanswered Questions in Tumour Monitoring

Cambridge Research Institute Annual International Symposium
19-20 March 2010

The Cancer Research UK Cambridge Research Institute's annual international Symposium, to be held on 19-20 March 2010 at the Li Ka Shing Centre in Cambridge, will focus on the challenges of tumour monitoring, specifically:

• The translation barrier: problems and solutions in moving from animal models to clinical trials;

  
  

• The potential clinical use of MRS in oncology;

  
  

• Detecting genomic biomarkers from high-dimensional clinical data;

  
  

• Opportunities of preneoplasia for a pre-emptive strike.

  
  

Each of these topics will be discussed by invited speakers and in a panel discussion. Delegates will have the opportunity to present a poster and/or a short talk at the Symposium.

Registration fees are £375 (€415 or USD625) for full registration; or £150 (€165 or USD250) for non-residential registration.

Attendance at the Symposium is limited to the first 160 applicants.
