Welcome to the Cambridge Research Institute

Cambridge Research Institute

The Cancer Research UK Cambridge Research Institute (CRI) is the latest cancer research initiative in the UK. The Institute aims to link the laboratory to the clinic and emphasises a multi-disciplinary approach to cancer-focussed research.

The Institute's current 18 research groups and associated core facilities are based in the Li Ka Shing Centre, close to Addenbrooke's Hospital and many University of Cambridge research departments and Institutes. This fosters an interactive environment that drives translational research. In addition, many CRI group leaders are clinically qualified, and applications from clinically qualified scientists are encouraged. Please see the Clinical Research Fellowships page for more information.

Further information about the Institute is available on this site - alternatively, you can download the CRI Scientific Report 2007.
